Camilla gets a gold star today: this little modified beret was a lovely choice for the memorial service of Gerald Ward, a good friend of Prince Charles and a godfather to Prince Harry. It's chic and yet appropriate, and the embellishments aren't overwhelming. The fabric looks seasonal, too -- I think it's velvet or something similar.
Also, note to Kate Middleton: this is the sort of occasion for which a hat with a net or veil is appropriate. Weddings, not so much.
